Let Those Bells Ring
The bells of freedom ring so sweet
Their tone is heavenly
But it was the soldiers of days long gone
Who gave us this heavenly treat

They walked the miles of beaches
In trenches...laid and cried
The jungles of Nam and deserts of sand
Some of these brave men died
They died so we could have the freedom
To ring those bells today
Many shed their life's blood
Knew it would be...when they went away

But they didn't falter, not one time
They gladly served with pride
All gave some... some gave all
Some on a cold, cold country side
They left their familes far behind
To go fight in a land faraway
So let those bells ring loudly
Be proud you're in a land of the brave

When you celebrate with your parades
And see the flag pass by
Say a prayer for the fallen soldiers
And a prayer for those who didn't die
For it was their love and devotion
To our land of Liberty
So let your bells ring sweetly
America.... you're FREE!!
